Strawberry Alarm Clock in mixing stage of new recording of Sky Saxon song May 11, 2010

The new Strawberry Alarm Clock recording, a cover of the Seeds' "Mr. Farmer", was begun in January of 2010 and is now in the final mixing stages. The song will be on a Sky Saxon tribute CD coming out this year.
Mark Weitz tells us that the Clock have hit a slow patch in working on their new full album (the first since 1969), but that the Sky Saxon song is closer to completion. When the Sky Saxon tribute CD is released, it will be the first new Strawberry Alarm Clock song since the soundtrack to 1971's Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls soundtrack (not including the obscure Lee Freeman track "Love Story" from 1995).
